On the 18th, the "Rongchuanghui" drone town in Fuzhou High tech Zone carried out a drone cleaning activity for the exterior walls. This is the first time that Fuzhou city has used drones to clean the glass curtain walls of high-rise buildings.
At present, the cleaning of glass curtain walls is mostly done by workers tying ropes and descending from the roof, which has problems such as insecurity, unreliability, and high labor costs. Many workers engaged in cleaning high-rise buildings are referred to as "spider men" and work in extremely dangerous environments. With the development of technology, drones are gradually becoming a new choice for enterprises to clean glass curtain walls. Currently, in the Fuzhou High tech Zone, companies in the "Rongchuanghui" drone town have made such a breakthrough by replacing "Spider Man" with "Little Bees".
The event comprehensively showcased the operation of drones in cleaning glass curtain walls, fully demonstrating the advantages of drones replacing traditional manual cleaning of building exterior walls. It is reported that the Fuzhou Zhongyue Aviation drone production base has settled in the Fuzhou High tech Zone and is expected to start production in December, helping Fuzhou strive to become a national low altitude economic demonstration zone.

Significant improvement in safety and efficiency
The building being cleaned this time is 130 meters high. In the past, it took 10 workers 50 hours to complete the initial cleaning. Nowadays, with drones, only 3 operators are needed to complete the task in 10 hours.
The BEONDT cleaning drone is responsible for this cleaning service, jointly developed by Zhongyue Airlines and the "Rongchuanghui" drone town in the high-tech zone. It has the functions of cleaning high-rise curtain walls and spraying high-rise facades.
This drone adopts a 6-axis suspension design, with a wind resistance level of up to level 7 and extremely strong stability. It can be widely used in high-altitude cleaning scenarios such as building exterior walls, photovoltaic panels, and high towers. The drone is powered by batteries and can have a single endurance of up to 60 minutes. The international standard 50mm caliber high-pressure water hose mounted on the drone can reach a height of 100 meters within 10 seconds. The nozzle sprays cleaning solution at a flow rate of 30 liters per second, with an effective nozzle range of over 25 meters and a working radius of up to 10 kilometers.
During the cleaning process, a pre prepared cleaning solution is sprayed out with the water flow. After the drone reaches the designated location, it can spray cleaning solution through the nozzle and perform cleaning at the same time. By repeating the cleaning steps several times, the high-rise exterior wall cleaning work can be efficiently completed.
